Overview

The Data Analyst I supports the Data Analytics team in maintaining data pipelines, producing dashboards, and monitoring KPIs across the organization’s treatment services lines and corporate functions. This role builds the foundational skills – SQL, data structuring, dashboard maintenance, KPI benchmarking – needed to progress into a role that owns a data domain independently. Strong fit for someone early in their data career who wants exposure to a multi-site, private-equity backed healthcare platform.

Entry-level Data Analytics role. Works under regular guidance and review; supports existing dashboards data pipelines, an KPI reporting owned by more senior analysts. Not yet responsible for independently owning a full data domain, dashboard suite, or pipeline.

Responsibilities

Data Pipeline & Reporting Support:

  • Assist in maintaining existing data pipelines under the direction of senior analysts or the Analytics Manager
  • Support dashboard maintenance and updates for department and service-line leaders
  • Assist with data pulls related to service-line and operational KPIs (e.g., census, admissions, utilization trends) under guidance from senior analysts
  • Help structure and clean data sets to support senior team members’ analyses

 

Analysis & Visualization:

  • Collaborate with team members to visualize data using graphs, charts, and Power BI tools
  • Support KPI benchmarking efforts by compiling and organizing data for senior analysts to review

 

Data Integrity & Process:

  • Ensure accuracy of data inputs across reporting and BI tools
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards, including time management and accuracy of work product
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets
  • Developing skills in SQL, Git, and other general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python)
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain findings to a direct supervisor
  • Eagerness to learn healthcare/behavioral health-specific financial concepts (payer mix, reimbursement models, service-line economics)
  • Collaborative approach to working across and within departments

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 0-2+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical field

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline

Technical:

  • Familiarity with SQL, Git, and other general purpose programming languages (e.g., Python)
