Laboratory Assistant

This role is for a recent college graduate enrolled in the in house 90-day training program or a current student serving as an
intern seeking exposure to the laboratory as a workplace. The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for facilitating the operation
of the laboratory by allowing scientific staff to focus on areas requiring more skill and expertise. The Laboratory Assistant
may observe and assist preparation of samples processing of instrument data to a limited extent.

• Sample tube labeling
• Metrology
• Manage inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
• Clean glassware and other housekeeping tasks
• Proper storage and disposal of laboratory specimens
• Assist other team members with sample analysis
• Maintain compliance documentation
• Demonstrate and promote Brightview values
• Observe and promote safety practices
• Be a team player and maintain a positive attitude towards work
• Demonstrated interest in lab work as a career path

Required Education/Degree:
Pursuing college degree in chemistry or related science OR 90 day training position for individuals who have recently
graduated in Chemistry or related science

Required Work Experience:
Demonstrated interest in lab work as a career path
No prior Laboratory experience required
